We will hear from lecture from Dr. Tara Keyser, Research Forester and Director of the Center for Hardwood Restoration and Management with the United States Forest Service on the importance of fire in our region. We will then host a landowner networking event with natural resource professionals focusing on prescribed fire and wildfire mitigation in our region followed by a free lunch and tour of prescribed fire site at Warren Wilson College.
